Power System Technology

Power System Technology was started its publication on Jan, 1957. After 50 years’ development, it has become famous home and abroad, and has been a senior academic and technical periodical with the most technical categories in power industry. In the newly published Chinese S&T Journal Citation Report, two most important indices (which are impact factor and total citation frequency) of Power System Technology rank the first and the seventh separately among 1723 kinds of core periodicals; and they rank the first and the second separately in the subject of power. Among the First One Hundred Excellent Chinese Academic Papers with the Most Influence, there are 3 papers on power engineering and electric technology, two of which are from Power System Technology. Among the First 100 Papers with the Highest Citation Frequency in 2006, there are 4 papers on power engineering and electric technology, all of which are from Power System Technology.

Power System Technology comparatively thoroughly reflects the technology development and scientific research achievements in electric power, electrotechnics and energy in China. It mainly publishes the technical and academic articles on the following aspects: development and planning of power and energy, super-high and ultra-high voltage power transmission technologies, key technologies in national and power company's key scientific and technological projects and in key power construction engineering projects, planning, designing, construction and operation technologies related with interconnection of large-scale power grids and interconnection of national power grids, power system's special telecommunication technologies, and technologies related with construction and operation of power market. It also consists many special columns, including experts forum, discussion and suggestion, statistics and analysis, new energies, standard forum, power demand side management, and new technologies and products.
